Hi! We are Maisie & Becca, the founders of Sunshine on Leads. Here’s a little bit about us…

Maisie

Ever since I was young I’ve loved dogs, and making sure they live happy and healthy lives is really important to me. I adopted my dog Lhotse from Romania in 2020. She arrived when she was 6 months old and had quite a few behavioural issues. She was super anxious and scared of the world, but with lots of work, patience and love, she has grown into a really happy and outgoing dog. This experience with Lhotse allowed me to understand how vital it is to create strong bonds with dogs in my care in order to make them feel as happy and comfortable as possible. I am an outdoorsy girl who loves mountain biking, hiking and exploring the amazing nature around where we live, especially with the dogs!

Becca

I have had dogs throughout my life, as well as adopting my cat after she was abandoned. I’m comfortable around all types of dogs and have experience with lots of different behaviours and personalities. I have been lucky to have experience with different dogs which gives me the ability to tailor walkies to your dogs needs. We have both worked closely with Maisie’s rescue dog, Lhoste, and helped her become less reactive and grow in confidence massively. This has been extremely rewarding, and prompted us to start Sunshine on Leads to let all dogs have a happy day, everyday.
